The Coast Guard Enrolled Personnel Test (CGEPT) will be used by the Indian Coast Guard (ICG), which is part of the Ministry of Defence, to conduct the Computer-Based Examination for the positions of Navik (General Duty) and Yantrik (Electrical, Mechanical, & Electronics) for the 01/2025 batch. This test will take place in September 2024 at various test centers across the country. About Indian Coast Guard
The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) is India’s maritime law enforcement and search and rescue agency. It is in charge of the contiguous zone and exclusive economic zone of India’s territorial waters. The Coast Guard Act, 1978, passed by the Indian Parliament, formally established it on August 18, 1978, after beginning operations on February 1, 1977. Its operation is supervised by the Ministry of Defense. The Coast Guard works closely with the Indian Navy, Department of Fisheries, Department of Revenue (Customs), Central Armed Police Forces, and State Police Services.

The deadline to apply for this recruitment drive was 10 July 2024, which was extended to 3 July 2024. There are a total of 320 open positions, of which 60 are for Yantrik (Electronics, Electricals, and Mechanicals) and 260 for Navik (General Duty). Exam Pattern

Follow these steps to obtain the Indian Coast Guard GD Admit Card for download:
- Visit indiancoastguard.gov.in, the official website.
- A brand-new page will appear on the screen.
- You can see the link to the “ICG Navik & Yatrik Admit Card” that you can download.
- To log in, use the link provided and your registered email address and password.
- Now, select the admit card download link.
- A colored printout of the admit card should be taken to the exam after it has been downloaded.
Exam Day Guidelines
When taking the exam, candidates should follow the following guidelines:
- Arrive at the exam centers early.
- Before the exam begins, candidates must verify their documentation.
- Bring both the original documents and a photocopy of them, as well as photographs in the required sizes and formats.
- In exam centers, using a mobile phone or any other modern electronic device is strictly forbidden.
- Possession of such items will be deemed unfair behavior, and those candidates’ candidacies will be canceled.
- Before entering the exam location, candidates must pass through frisking.
- No solicitation with respect to change in test places will be acknowledged by ICG.

Final Words
The Indian Coast Guard’s (ICG) Navik application form 2025 deadline has been extended. The deadline was moved up to July 10, 2024. On June 13, 2024, the ICG Navik application form 2025 was made available. Prior to that, the application deadline was July 3, 2024. There were 26 open positions for the exam. The notification came with the dates for the ICG Navik exam. The Stage 2 will be led in Mid/End Nov 2025. Stage 3 will take place in early to mid-April 2025. The ICG Navik exam is open to people between the ages of 18 and 22.
