About COMDEK

The acronym COMEDK stands for the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka. The Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation (KPCF) and the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association (KUPECA) established COMEDK as an independent merit determination authority. The annual entrance exams for undergraduate and postgraduate courses at 16 medical, 24 dental, and approximately 150 engineering colleges in Karnataka have been administered by COMEDK since its inception in 2004-05. To determine the merit of aspiring students, COMEDK’s mission is to conduct fair, open, and non-exploitative testing procedures.

  1. The student must have graduated with a PCM or PCB from a school accredited by the central or state governments. English and mathematics are required courses for all students.

  3. Candidates who hold a diploma are ineligible to take the exam. Physics and mathematics are also required courses.

COMEDK Application Form
